About
Welcome to my blog!

I'm so glad you're here. You probably want to know a little about me and what I'm doing here in this space on the internet.

Well, I'm a single mom with a snarky sense of humor, a bread-baker, a yogurt-maker and an adventurous soul who loves to travel but is afraid to fly. I'm working toward minimizing my stuff so we can live in a tiny house, grow a good portion of the food we eat, and spend more time with each other and less on things.

I'm a writer and knitter who is passionate about helping people exercise their creativity and make this world a more beautiful place. I believe the best way to do that is to make room in your life by slowing down and simplifying. That's what I'm in the process of doing, and I'm glad you're here to join me on this journey.

I started this blog because there aren't many places out there focusing on the relationship between simplifying, minimalism, and creativity. I think if we have a creative bone in our bodies, then it is our duty to share that with the world.

But I'm not going to be giving you how-tos on craft projects.

My goal is to help you make it easier to express your creativity in the way that's best for you, whether that's through art or cooking or the way you look at the world. Creativity comes in all forms, and I especially want to encourage moms out there to take time to do the things that feed their souls and remember that they have gifts that are important to bring out into the world.

Take a look at my free download -- a manifesto to kick-start the conversation -- and let me know how you minimize your stuff to maximize your contribution to the world.

Let's make this world a more beautiful place together!
